I could’ve sworn I was wearing Kleenex when I tested out the Moving Comfort Balance Tank. Made fromĀ ultra-light, seamless material engineered to move moisture and prevent odor I couldn’t believe how weightless it felt. While the collar was a little too high for non-racing casual wear, the subtle textured design added a feminine touch, and I never felt constricted. One note of warning: get in a crunch session before racing in this top, because it clings like a second skin.

I have two words for you: Moving Comfort (movingcomfort.com). This women’s-specific active wear brand has been in the works for 30 years, making everything from sport tanks to yoga pants. Their main focus? Bras. Over the course of three decades, they’ve perfected their craft by doing away with things like armpit chafing, cinching, pinching, and for women of all sizes. In fact, you can get a DD-size bra anywhere between 34 to 40 inches around the torso, and each size also has four hooks for further adjustments. Plus, they have a whopping seven styles built specifically for DD/E-size women. It might have something to do with the fact that one of their designers is larger breasted, which also means nothing about these bras’ performance is going to slip through the cracks.

There’s nothing better than a comfortable bra. Especially when you’re running. This simple, pullover style is breathable with perforated mesh under the arms. The racerback style fits well under most sport tanks and there are no poorly-placed seams that will show through from under your shirt. This should be a staple item in your running ensemble–winter or summer.
